 What a thrill to be producing the first Summer Cabaret Series for Northern Virginia’s newest and critically acclaimed professional theatre company, NextStop, under the Artistic Direction of my dear friend (and former student!) Evan Hoffman. 

Broadway star and internationally acclaimed cabaret/recording artist Karen Mason  will open our series July 11th and 12th.

The incomparable Sally Mayes, Tony nominated actress and beloved cabaret/recording artist, will perform July 26th and I Jim Van Slyke, will will close the series August 16th/17th. How about some Sedaka?!

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented acclaimed singers Jenna Esposito and Jim Van Slyke in a sold-out celebration of the music of Connie Francis and Neil Sedaka in “Where The Hits Are: A Tribute to the Songs ofConnie Francis and Neil Sedaka” on Monday, December 30.

Over the past ten years, the award-winning Broadway at Birdland concert series has brought hundreds of Broadway and cabaret stars to the historic stage of Birdland, including Liza MinnelliChita RiveraChristine EbersoleTom WopatJason Robert BrownFrank Wildhorn and Cyndi Lauper.
